To celebrate the release of the long player, ‘Andrew Weatherall Vs The Boardroom’ (Rotters Golf Club Records), The Boardroom will host a series of FREE monthly meetings, on the first Saturday of the month,

starting Saturday November 1st, with a warm-up DJ throw-down in the heart of The City @ The Griffin (Ravey Street, EC2, 8pm-11pm), before heading to the fabulously renovated pastoral oasis, The Britannia (360
Victoria Park Road (cnr of Gascoigne Rd), E9 7BT, 9pm – 2am),

Boardroom live set & DJ sets from those involved including:

Sidney Le Sarge (Le Sarge en Board.) James Moss (E.S.C./Racetrax.) Rad Rice (Radical Majik.)
Tim Fairplay (Battant/BoredPlay.) Sean Johnston (Hardway Bros/Beard Science) PingMonster (E.S.C.)

Playing electronic funk & dubbed-out balearical disco.

The first 50 guests will receive a FREE mix CD.

There will, of course, be the customary debauchery of the after-party – details to be announced on the night.

‘Andrew Weatherall Vs The Boardroom’ Album launch party, released on Rotters Golf Club Records (Vinyl, CD, Digital), 10.11.08.

The 8-track album features 3 new Boardroom tracks from Radical Majik, Le Sarge en Board & ESC, plus remixes by Weatherall & Boardroom remixes of 2 Two Lone Swordsmen tracks, (Patient Saints & Shack 54).

About The Boardroom:
2007 saw The Boardroom release a series of four 12′s on Frankfurt’s pioneering KLANG Elektronik label & play live @ Berlin’s electronic music mecca Berghain, Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson, Copenhagen’s Culturebox, Reading’s perrenial acid-house Checkpoint Charlie, London’s WANG, as well as 4 bank-holiday all-dayers & NYE @ King’s Cross’s Canal125.

So far in 2008, The Boardroom have enjoyed a 6 month all-night Saturday residency @ Shoreditch’s Platinum (Paul St.) & performances @ East Village & The Star of Bethnal Green, while writing & recording new
artist-album material and remixing for various labels, including Playhouse, Virgin (Germany), Leftroom, KLANG Elektronic, Process, etc.
