R. LOREN STRIKES AGAIN: WHITE MOTH’S S/T OUT TOMORROW, STREAMING NOW

Alec Empire:” This is one of the darkest projects I have ever been involved in…it’s intense…I loved working with those guys! This is very rare stuff…try to grab it while it’s still out there…the guys from crustcake.com couldn’t have described it better…read below.”
“Not so long ago, we gave you the heads up on Sailors with Wax Wings, the new project from R. Loren of Denton shapeshifters Pyramids. Well, Loren has another project to unleash upon the world – White Moth. According to Loren, White Moth is:
…a milestone on an indefinite journey, much of which is documented here- a series of deeply intimate works crafted with the help of those that have inspired my own growth and musical bloodflow for its duration….
You have to listen to get the full meaning of his statement. Their self titled record comes out tomorrow on Angel Oven Records, and you can preview it in the link provided above. And in accordance with the collaborative nature of Pyramids, this record’s got a whole host of great guests too. Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts), who was on the Sailors record, appears again, as does No-Wave legend Lydia Lunch, John Gossard (Weakling, Asunder, Dispirit, The Gault), experimental hip-hopper Dälek, and many more. White Moth’s a little more all-over the place and beat oriented than either Pyramids or Sailors With Wax Wings, but it’s still got R. Loren’s penchant for dreaminess. Well worth a listen.
Album cover, track listing, and full list of personnel (seriously, it’s also AMAZING) after the jump.”
