TONIGHT THE FALL PLAYS BERLIN…AS THEY HAVE DONE MANY TIMES, BUT THIS TIME IT WILL BE SPECIAL….

This guy comes up to me and says:” Oh The Fall, I have seen them once, and they were really awful, the singer was drunk and moody…”

I turn around and walk out of the conversation.

If you’re looking for entertainment, like all these blog and myspace friendly bands, do NOT go.

Stay with the herd, you fucking cow(ard)….there is an electric fence around that little field you’re living in…the moment you step outside, you get shocked…so keep your tunnel vision…run with your herd…don’t go…

I saw The Fall in front of 150 people and they were amazing, then I saw them play a sold out show adn they were so insanely bad, it was important to see…but you know what…that’s the point…you have to make up your own mind about them and about yourself constantly. Nobody will tell you to like them…

And one thing is always certain…the simple fact that Mark E Smith is still touring and releasing records, proves how great and genius he is. Take all your MGMT mp3s and Owlcity ringtones and come back to me in 20 years…I bet you won’t remember even having them.
