EMPIRE REMIXES CONTROVERSIAL GERMAN PUNK BAND SLIME
Alec Empire did a remix of German punk classic “Bullenschweine” from legendary band Slime for upcoming film “Chaostage”.
Alec:” I was really proud to do this mix because I listened to this band a lot when I was still in school. No other band from the German punk scene was more important to me. They combined simple but intelligent political lyrics with highly energetic punkrock. they weren’t into the fun punk thing at all.”
Alec doubled the vocals with his own , so this is the first time Alec is actually singing in German. We will post more infos about the film nearer its release.
Slime is also one of the few bands alongside Atari Teenage Riot who was indexed by the German authorities.
